"ROBOLAB-online is an easy-to-use and cost-effective means of introducing children to the ROBOLAB graphical programming environment for the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robotics Invention System. It comprises 2D simulations of an RCX 'buggy' in a virtual environment. Several sets of exercises and challenges of graded difficulty enable users to progress from ROBOLAB Pilot Level 1 to Level 4 at their own individual paces. The simulations include the use of touch and light sensors. Pupils can readily apply the skills that they develop to the programming of real MINDSTORMS® RCX robots.
